ETB also offers an eclectic array of material and skills that can enhance and deepen already established practices.

These include the wisdom and insights from Classical Yoga, Bone Yoga, Bone Yoga Bodywork, Qi Gong, Five Element Acupuncture, meridian work, meditation and breath work.

The principles of Bone Yoga are carried into the Bone Yoga Bodywork to support others with embodying new easeful ways of being.

ETB uses skilled therapeutic touch to engage the whole person, offering a unique bodywork therapy interwoven with the benefits of Bone Yoga.

The quality of touch used in ETB is safe, respectful and adaptable.

We will explore

  • The Bone Yoga Sequence

  • Bone Yoga Bodywork Protocol

  • Standing with ease

  • Breath work that supports the skeleton

  • How to work with emotions

  • Observational and touch skills

  • How to work skilfully with touch

  • How to be more at ease with ourselves

  • Qigong techniques for clients and for self  healing

  • Techniques that help us to be present in the world

  • How to work with vertebrate patterns of yield, push, reach and recoil.

  • How to engage with and work with sthira and sukah

  • How to work with and support clients to release held physical and emotional traumas

  • To work with a clarity of touch that recognises clear therapeutic boundaries

  • How to recognise and work with old default patterns

Part of our embodied learning comes from the practice of Bone Yoga. Particular focus is placed on exploring the way our joints move, in relationship to ease and the fascial tensions as the joints begin to engage

The Bone Yoga Bodywork Protocol works with and follows closely those same engagement principles

 Bodywork

With an embodied experience of the movements and engagement principles of Bone Yoga, combined with learning and developing high level skills of touch communication, you will at the end of the workshop be able to, with confidence give a Bone Yoga Bodywork session as well as sharing with your clients and friends Bone Yoga.

We will explore:

•How to use the knowledge of Yoga and Qigong for your own personal development and health as well as applying these principles when working with clients

•How to work with and release traumas and old habitual patterns within the skeletal system and soft tissues

•Simple techniques that can help us become more present, with less tensions on all levels of body mind and spirit

•How to work with the structural and energetic components of the skeleton

•The importance of our mind and emotions and how they affect our body tissues

•Movement, mind focus and breathing techniques that help us to be more skilful at letting go of our old default patterns.

•The Bone Yoga Sequence and the Bone Yoga Bodywork protocol.

The explorations and learnings are multifaceted and are creatively interwoven so that participants can gain the most from their experience.

There is plenty of quality time focusing on, exploring and embodying the material kinaesthetically through yoga, Qigong and hands on experience.
